Everything @ Steak

Eating steak is not a cheap thrill but one restaurant located at San Juan made it possible, the Everything at Steak restaurant (located within the vicinity of a Petron gas station).

I had the sumptuous New York steak meal. For Php185, I got to choose what siding  (the side dish choices are overwhelming: 2-pc. Fried Egg, 2-pc. Garlic Bread, Garlic Rice, Grilled Corn on the Cob, Coleslaw, Meatball Pasta, Chorizo Carbonara, Mac N' Cheese,  French Fries, Twister Fries, Mashed Potato, potato Wedges, Twice-Baked Potato and potato salad),  sauce (choice of original mushroom gravy, barbecue, country style gravy, peppercorn gravy and mint sauce) and marinade (original marinade or the New Orleans rub (spicy)) goes with my meal.

Mine was a combi of original marinade, mashed potato and peppercorn gravy.

At first I thought the steak would lack some luster since we paid such a cheap price for the meal, but the meat tasted fine. It may just have lacked a little thickness but all in all was a great meal. I loved the potato as well. It was perfectly cooked, not too raw and not too soggy. And the peppercorn gravy went really well with the steak.

Another of this restaurants' bestsellers is their Moo Fries. Yum! It is a pool of french fries, meat, cheese and spicy yoghurt. I was really into this dish. The fries were not soggy, the meat was fresh and the flavors were a feast to my tastebuds! Comparable to the cost of their steak meals, this meal costs a hefty P140.00.

How to get there:

By taxi. I don't see any jeepneys passing by the place.
