Up, Up and Away!!!
Every February, Clark, Pampanga holds a gathering for balloons, Hot Air Balloons, that is.
Just recently the 18th installment was held and we were there for the eye candy.
The event was filled with wonderful activities for your friends and family to enjoy. Concerts, air shows, (including the French Breitling team --> which by the way was so awesome!!! and our very own 67 year old Meynard Halili, who is said to be the only Filipino licensed to perform aerobatic exhibitions in the country) and lots of bancheto style eating areas.

Love the color combi!

Balloons swarm the field

Perfect for lovers.

"Pull, pull,pull!!!"

It's More Fun in the Sunny Philippines :)

Humpty Dumpty Fell

This reminds me of lastikman.

The colorful balloon just looks so yummy!!!

Hooray for the paragliders!

This balloon took too long to inflate til they decided to call it a day and discontinue flying.

The FUN SUN! Up close but not too personal.
Ride (how to get there):
By Bus: Victory Liner - ride the Olongapo trip
By personal transportation: Around 2 hours drive from the Quezon City Area and around 2.5 hours from the South Area.
Yum, yum, yum (where to eat):
The vicinity itself is loaded with food stalls for everyone's tastebuds but you would need good luck to find vacant seats.
Everybody's Cafe - this resto located at Del Pilar McArthur Highway, San Fernando, Pampanga has been known for generations and the interiors of the restaurant does reveal that fact.
- they sell camaro (crickets), morcon (around Php 400.00/full order) and my favorite, their version of SISIG (with sabaw) (around Php200)! Yummy!!
- By the way, you can opt to order half for some items on their menu.
